The Human Resources Committee approved a resolution Feb. 18 recognizing Rick Helwig, who will retire next week after 27 years with the Buffalo County Highway Department. Mr. Nathan Nelson moved to approve the resolution; Ms. Carol McDonough seconded and the motion carried.
