The Elko County Planning Commission unanimously approved a staff‑recommended zone change for a ~7.419‑acre parcel submitted by Sierra Knudsen to allow conveyance to a family member for an existing single‑family residence in Ruby Valley (physical address listed as 9336 Ruby Valley Road). Staff said the proposal conforms with surrounding uses and would not change land‑use character beyond formalizing the deed transfer.
