The Vernon County Commission recorded that Commissioners Joe Wilson and John Shorten met April 3 with Matthew Knight and Randall Willoughby of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Waste Management Unit and representatives from Enviroserve to discuss procedures for cleanup after tornadoes that hit Moundville and Nevada on April 2, 2025.
