Porter updates building code ordinance; Kevin Walker named code enforcement officer
The board voted to update the town's building-code ordinance to the state's current codes (OUBCC), appointed Kevin Walker as Code Enforcement Officer and approved training for him.

Town Clerk Shirley Herring told the board the town ordinance still references the defunct BOCA code and that Oklahoma now uses the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code (OUBCC). Mayor Steve Dickey moved to update the town ordinance to the current state codes; the board approved the change unanimously.
