Fire department hires new firefighter-EMT; upgrades tools on reserve engine

On vouchers, the chief explained that two charges at Ace Hardware reflect an upgrade of cordless tools on reserve Engine 62 to Milwaukee equipment in order to standardize batteries and interoperability. He said invoice coding can summarize multi-page invoices and that if necessary staff can recode charges at year end to different accounts to manage operating budgets.
