Board approves amendment to allow firearm coating and wrapping at 4601 Maplecrest Rd.

The Fort Wayne Board of Zoning Appeals on Feb. 19 approved UVAR-2026-0004, amending a prior use variance to include coating and wrapping of firearms at 4601 Maplecrest Rd. Chair Lakisha Woods opened the public hearing for the item; the application lists Jacob Medina of Luxe Art LLC as the applicant and an applicant representative spoke on behalf of the proposal. Connie Haas-Zuber moved to approve the amendment based on Findings of Fact and subject to a recorded written commitment; Jay Wilhelm seconded. The motion carried 4-0.
