Kyle Sharp, representing the company, said the site’s southern portion is encumbered by wetlands, which led the development team to place the building nearer to Highway 17. "...the property to the south is encumbered by wetlands," Sharp said, explaining that the layout reflects site constraints and a standard prototype building. After questions from the board, the motion to approve the variance passed by roll call and staff will include standard conditions in the order.
