County staff asked the board to reclassify a part-time Get My Ride transit position in Jackpot to full-time after a local health-care provider announced it was leaving and residents must travel more frequently to Twin Falls for care. Staff said Get My Ride already covers about 75% of the position costs through grant funds and Jackpot will cover the remaining roughly $15,000; the budget committee recommended approval.
