Trans Com recommends 2027–2032 Surface Transportation Program projects

The Transportation Coordinating Committee voted April 30 to recommend projects for the 2027–2032 Surface Transportation Program (STP) following a staff presentation on project evaluation and apportionments. Councilmember Brooke D'Sousa moved the recommendation; Michelle Bujdoso of the Utah Air Quality Board seconded and the vote was unanimous.
WFRC staff emphasized the role of approved technical criteria and professional considerations in evaluating projects recommended for STP funding. The committee’s recommendation will be forwarded to the Regional Council for final approval; specific project lists and apportionment figures are in the meeting packet.
