Commissioners Jeff Rupp and Joe Short voted 2-0 to adopt Resolution 2026-217 approving minutes of the March 31, 2026 regular session and Resolution 2026-218 to approve the day's agenda as amended. The board also passed Resolution 2026-220 proclaiming April 2026 as National County Government Month.
Other approvals included Resolution 2026-226, which adopted procedures to sign a Purchase Order Edit List and approve submitted travel requests, and various housekeeping motions recorded in the meeting journal. Each recorded motion was moved and seconded and carried on a 2-0 vote as shown in the official minutes.
The board recessed routine business to consider several project- and contract-specific items (see separate items on airport grant reimbursement, engineering payment, workers' compensation agreement, CEBCO designations and the cancelled lawn-maintenance bid). The meeting adjourned shortly after those votes.
