During the March 17 meeting the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners approved two brief executive sessions. Commissioner Frazier moved for a 10-minute non-elected personnel executive session with the Board and the County Appraiser (return at 9:40 a.m.); Commissioner Garner seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes state no action was taken after the session.
Later the Board approved a 15-minute attorney-client executive session to return at 9:57 a.m.; Commissioner Moates seconded Commissioner Frazier’s motion and the vote was unanimous. The minutes again record no action taken. The sessions were recorded as procedural and no formal directives or votes resulted from them in the minutes.
