Plevna council accepts workers’ compensation quote contingent on classification changes

Clerk Bondell presented a workers' compensation estimate received via email from Jade Boggs at The Insurance Store for Montana State Fund with an estimated annual cost of $1,048.28.
Bondell said the estimate included a class code that does not apply to Plevna and that one other class's estimated salary needs to be raised to produce a more accurate premium. Councilwoman Promise Miller moved to accept the estimate contingent on removing the incorrect municipal-other-employees-and-drivers class code and adjusting the other classification; Councilman Jason Castleberry seconded the motion and it carried 3-0. Bondell reported she had emailed the Insurance Store requesting the classification changes and was awaiting a response.
