Jackson County commissioners approved Resolution 2026-11 to rezone a parcel from A1-RR so owner Richard Iverson may sell a portion to a family member for a home; the Planning Commission had already approved the change and the vote was unanimous 3-0.

The Jackson County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved Resolution 2026-11, changing a parcel from A1-RR to permit a portion to be sold for residential development. Commissioner Keith Kelly moved to approve the resolution and Commissioner Linda Gerhardt seconded; "the motion carried 3/0."
