The Allen County Plan Commission on Feb. 19 reviewed a series of comprehensive plan map updates and forwarded DO PASS recommendations to the appropriate governing bodies. The items included countywide maps (COMP-2026-0003 and COMP-2026-0004) and municipal maps for Huntertown and Woodburn (COMP-2026-0005 through COMP-2026-0008).
Commissioners made individual motions to forward each map update to the Board of Commissioners (county items) or to the respective municipal councils/boards (Huntertown, Woodburn). Motions were made and seconded (James Wolff/Jennifer Bennett; Mike Fruchey/Ron Turpin and others) and each passed unanimously, 6-0. The actions send the proposed map updates into the next formal adoption steps with the receiving bodies.
The minutes do not include detailed map content in the business record; staff presented the proposed updates and the Commission recorded its recommendations and votes.
