Diane Cucar, Community Development Director, told the commissioners that ESM identified red flags in the environmental study for the parcel at 1285 Evergreen. The board received the notice; no vote or remediation plan was recorded in the minutes.
"ESM had some red flags with the environmental study done at 1285 Evergreen," Cucar said, and she also listed upcoming community events including a Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge on Feb. 11 in Longton and a mobile food bank at the Moline Library on Feb. 18 at 1:00 p.m. The comment signals the need for follow-up review before any land-use decision involving that property.
