The Troup County Development Authority voted to provide $35,000 toward a new Downtown LaGrange master plan, a representative said during a special meeting. The motion authorizing the authority to "participate in funding LaGrange Town downtown master plan in the amount of $35,000 subject to available funds and terms acceptable to the authority" was moved by a committee member and seconded, and the chair said the motion carried by a show of hands.
