The Jackson County Commission took time July 27 to recognize two employees for their service. The chair invited Misty Perkins forward and described her role finding grants and serving as project coordinator; Perkins thanked the commission for the opportunity. The chair also recognized Chad Coleman for his leadership of the council on aging and for directing senior center services across six county centers.
Commissioners praised the staffers’ professionalism and the operational contributions of county employees generally. The recognition was ceremonial; no formal personnel actions were taken during the meeting.
