During the public comment period, residents raised a series of concerns not limited to zoning text. Lourrinda Renee told the commission that restrictions "have not been evenly applied across the board" and complained about driving conditions, support for the Fire Department, flooding tied to new housing developments, and the absence of a City Engineer and building inspectors. The remarks were framed as requests for better enforcement and improved local services.
