Staff presented landscape design options produced by Zara and Associates for a proposed Water‑Wise demonstration garden and for the I‑70 North roundabout. Because bringing water to the roundabout site would require an expensive bore under I‑70 and the garden designs were judged more elaborate than budget allows, council instructed staff to pull those items from the current budget and to pursue zero‑water or lower‑cost alternatives.
