County authorizes two-week soft start to evaluate ClearGov budgeting software
After a presentation and references to the City of Cody's experience, commissioners authorized a two-week, no-charge remapping (soft start) with ClearGov to evaluate the software before a contract decision; commissioners will revisit the authorization at the next meeting.

Clerk Lane, accounting specialist Rebecca Romero and IT staff presented ClearGov, a budgeting and capital-planning software endorsed by NACO. Presenters described the software’s modules (operational, capital, personnel and a digital budget book), explained how it would layer over the county's existing Munis system, and shared positive feedback from City of Cody officials familiar with ClearGov.
