Lyons approves resolutions to accept state shared revenues
Council approved Resolution 634-2026 certifying eligibility and Resolution 635-2026 declaring the city's election to receive state shared revenues after a brief hearing with no public comment.

The Lyons City Council opened the State Shared Revenue hearing at 6:40 p.m. on June 23. There were no public comments during the hearing. Councilor Diane Hyde moved to approve Resolution 634-2026 certifying the city’s eligibility to receive state shared revenues; Councilor Amy Thrasher seconded and the council approved the resolution unanimously. Councilor Thrasher then moved to approve Resolution 635-2026 declaring the city’s election to receive state shared revenues; Councilor Hyde seconded and the resolution was approved unanimously.
