The board conducted the canvass of the 2026 primary runoff and the clerk (read by meeting staff) recited precinct-level vote totals for the governor’s Republican runoff. The tabulation recorded multiple precinct counts and concluding totals: the transcript lists the final totals as 1,100 for the first candidate and 2,374 for Larry Roden. After review of the tabulator numbers, Commissioner Johnson moved and Commissioner McElhaney seconded approval of the canvass; the board voted aye and the motion carried.
