Klamath County accepts ORMAP grant to buy wide-format printer for GIS

Erica Wilde of Klamath County GIS told the board the county was awarded an Oregon Department of Revenue ORMAP spring 2026 grant to buy a new large-format Canon printer. Wilde said the grant provides up to "$5,400" and the printer will be purchased from Pacific Office Automation for $5,375, with an annual parts-and-labor service contract costing $399 per year to be paid from the GIS budget.
Wilde described the grant as fully funding the printer purchase and explained the $399 renewable service contract will be covered by GIS contract services. Chair moved that the board approve the ORMAP IGA contract and the Pacific Office Automation equipment and service and supply contract; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
The county recorded the fiscal impact detail in the motion: $5,375 fully funded by the ORMAP spring 2026 grant and $399 annually from GIS GL funding. The action authorizes the chair to sign the IGA and vendor contract and assigns GIS staff to manage the equipment and service relationship.
