Bobby Clark, representing El Primo's Midlothian (Primos), told the MCDC board the developer will invest just over $6,000,000 to renovate 211 West Main, adding a restaurant and four loft units. Clark asked the board to consider a project grant to help fund lighting, signage and sidewalk/accessibility improvements; he said ownership and maintenance responsibility for parts of the sidewalk were unclear after outreach to TxDOT and city staff.
