County issues RFQ for geomorphic study tied to potential grant; submissions due Aug. 19

Commissioners asked whether the study could lead to dredging recommendations at the river mouth; Eugenis said the consultant will independently review data and recommend flood-protection options based on that analysis, and emphasized the RFQ is a step to assemble the technical basis for any future projects.
