Mayor Wanda Irish told the council that the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project cannot begin until 2027 per LHTAC and she recommended removing the item from the agenda. Councilmember Charlie Shutt reported he had contacted LHTAC and said the agency will send a representative to the area in May, which could allow the city to schedule a workshop.
