Commission approves skid-steer engine purchase, barn lease and dozer financing
The board approved an $11,273.90 engine replacement for a Bobcat skid steer (with a $2,400 core credit), a $1,500 annual barn lease for Road & Bridge, and lease-purchase financing at 4.53% for a previously approved 2026 CAT D6 dozer.

Commissioners authorized several equipment and lease items during the May 18 meeting. For Road & Bridge, the commission approved replacing a Bobcat skid-steer engine from vendor Vanderhaeg for $11,273.90 (a core credit of $2,400 will be returned after the old core is returned) and waived the county purchasing policy for this single purchase; the motion passed five-zero.
