Multiple Sunnyvale residents addressed the council during the public forum about Jobson Park and the planned turf fields. Braxton Adamson thanked staff for park improvements and said he supported turf and lights for Jobson but was skeptical a dedicated cricket component was needed: "I'm pro improvement and pro development of Jobson Park... generally, I'm opposed to the cricket component to that." Adamson said demand for baseball and soccer is proven and cautioned against converting scarce field space to an unproven use.
