HR launches exit‑interview program and flags five assistant vacancies

Human Resources told the board the district will start a formal exit‑interview process to collect feedback from employees who resign or retire and to use that data in aggregate to inform staff growth opportunities and wellness efforts.
"We will be starting a new exit interview process... to help inform, directly aligning with our strategic plan, informing, designing growth opportunities for our staff, as well as monitoring employee wellness," the HR director said. HR said exit interviews will be offered in person or electronically and will be scheduled on a rolling basis as resignations occur; interviews for retirements will be expanded next year to include teacher retirees.
HR also reported five current vacancies for classroom assistant positions — one at Westmore, two at Greenbrier and two at Meadowbrook — and described recruitment work using candidate pools and word‑of‑mouth outreach to try to fill positions before the first day of school on August 17.
