Whitman County plans fall RFP as final Republic Services contract year begins July 1
County staff said the current Republic Services contract has one more year starting July 1 and the county intends to issue a transport/disposal RFP this fall to have a new contract in place by early 2027; SWAC will advise whether to extend the existing contract or resolicit.
