The planning commission voted to table SS26-011 (Flint Small Subdivision amendment) on May 21 after staff reported outstanding county department comments and an access configuration that creates a flag lot not meeting county standards.
Staff explained the amendment would adjust existing Lots 1 and 2 and create a new lot, but county review comments were compiled and sent to the applicant and surveyor on May 11 and staff was still awaiting an update. Staff noted the applicant could remedy the flag-lot issue either by creating a 100-foot access strip or by providing frontage along Gunsight Peak Road.
Chairman Mellonee Wilding said she was not comfortable proceeding without responses to staff's May 11 comments, and Commissioner Jed Pugsley moved to table the application for up to six months to allow the applicant time to respond and fix lot lines. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Jared Holmgren and unanimously carried.
