Boards approve GRS actuary contract and updated Summary Plan Description
Summary
Trustees approved a transition of actuarial services to GRS Consulting and the General Employees’ Board approved an updated Summary Plan Description; plan administrators were directed to obtain signatures and complete records.
Board administrators introduced an actuary services contract to transition actuarial work to GRS Consulting; each of the three boards approved the contract as presented. The Plan Administrators were assigned to obtain signatures and provide fully executed agreements to the actuary and the plan attorney for the record.
Separately, the General Employees’ Board reviewed and approved an updated Summary Plan Description (SPD) prepared by the Plan Attorney. Elon Poole moved to approve the SPD; John Cooper seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes show the contract approval and SPD approval were routine, with no further amendments recorded at the meeting.
