The Cibola County Commission on April 23 voted 3-2 to table a policy discussion and direction regarding uranium mining. Commissioner Georgia Routzen Sanchez moved to table the item; Commissioner Ray Carpenter seconded. The commission recorded the motion as carried 3-2 and set the item aside "until we can engage other agencies."
