During the July 30 work session, Elizabeth Decker explained proposed changes to parking minimums meant to align county code with recent state legislation. She said the draft code treats the numbers shown on staff slides as the highest minimums the county may adopt under state law and emphasized that developers remain free to provide more parking than the local minimum requires.
