Scott Grim‑Lyon, representing the Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance, briefed the Dorset Select Board on the 2025 Solid Waste Implementation Plan (SWIP) and the five‑year reapproval process. Grim‑Lyon noted a new Household Hazardous Waste site in Bennington and said the alliance conducts outreach to “40+ businesses and 3 schools each year.”
