Board accepts First Interim report and approves impound resolution, developer-fee report, and facility projects

Chief Business Official Martin Rodriguez presented financial and capital items that the board approved on Dec. 15. The First Interim Financial Report was accepted with the board certifying the district can meet its financial obligations for the current and two subsequent fiscal years. The board also approved Resolution No. 2025-11 directing the County Auditor to impound local tax revenues in the amount of $291,831.14 pending dispute resolution under Education Code Section 14240.
Rodriguez reviewed the district's annual accounting of developer fees and the related Five-Year Report required by Government Code sections 66001(d) and 66006(b); the board adopted Resolution No. 2025-12. The board approved a contract with KYA Services LLC to install two outdoor learning pavilions for the Redwood Expanded Learning Program at a cost not to exceed $273,355.62 (ELOP grant-funded). Change Order #1–#6 for the Sequoia Elementary TK/Special Needs project produced a net contract increase of $13,135.53, funded from Full-Day TK grant, Community Facility District bond and Funds 25 and 52.
