SILO board accepts resignations, hears facilities and operational updates
The board accepted resignations from three employees and Superintendent Kate McDonald briefed the board on planned playground renovations, tree removal, student physicals, cleaning contracts and in‑service planning.

The SILO Public Schools Board accepted letters of resignation from Susan Chalk, KD Carter and Nancy O'Brien at the July 14 meeting. The motion to accept resignations was made by Chris Cicio and seconded by Tabitha Kellam; recorded votes show yes from Sean Bradley, Tabitha Kellam and Chris Cicio, with two members not voting.
