County reports several hiring efforts underway; equalization director and custodial/dispatch vacancies noted
The administrator reported five applications for the contractual equalization director position, staff were directed to post custodial and dispatch openings immediately, and the personnel committee is preparing memorandums of understanding to speed backfilling critical public-safety positions.

Sanilac County Administrator Nathan told the board five applications were received for the contracted equalization director role and that three candidates will be invited for evaluation. "We did get, 5 applications for the equalization director," Nathan said, adding the county will bring three people in to evaluate the work.
