The Town of Sperry Board of Trustees voted Sept. 19 to declare a 2016 Ford Explorer (VIN 1FM5K8AR9GGA12396) surplus and authorized Town Administrator H. Rick Rumsey to arrange sale through an auction house at no cost to the town; the motion passed 3-0.

The Town of Sperry Board of Trustees voted Sept. 19 to declare a 2016 Ford Explorer (VIN 1FM5K8AR9GGA12396) surplus and authorized Town Administrator H. Rick Rumsey to contact an auction house and sign necessary documents to sell the vehicle at no cost to the town. The motion was made by Trustee Debra Burch and seconded by Trustee Patrick McCotter; Mayor Robert Morton joined in the unanimous 3-0 vote.
