The committee approved three additional grants to strengthen public-safety communications and wellness. Members accepted a $689,655 ESInet Readiness Grant from the state to connect to fiber-based emergency services IP networks, configure an existing microwave link, and replace an uninterruptible power supply; the performance period runs through Dec. 31, 2030.
