Ruston council approves Master Fee Resolution update, increases many fees 5%

According to the meeting record, the update increases many fees by 5 percent to keep pace with inflation; replaces a flat $173 application administrative fee with a 5 percent administrative fee assessed on each invoice; deletes the proposed permit fee for street-tree alterations after council decision not to adopt that procedure; and changes legal review charges from a set fee to a passthrough based on the city’s actual legal costs.
