Eric Long presented the Bowman Consulting Group proposal for a Pelican Sound Master Signage Program that would replace monuments across the district, including neighborhood monuments. "The proposal entails replacement of all monuments throughout the CDD, including the neighborhoods," Long said, and staff noted some monuments will be relocated; neighborhood monument costs are budgeted under Pelican Sound replacement reserves.
Mr. Blumenthal moved to approve the Bowman proposal and Mr. Schultz seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Staff and the district engineer will coordinate design, permitting and placement, and inform neighborhoods when designs and renderings are available.
