Council corrects URS Tier II pickup contribution rate to 4.73% with Resolution 2026-15A
Sunset City adopted Resolution 2026-15A to correct a clerical error in the City's previously adopted contribution rate for URS Tier II public safety employees, changing the pickup contribution from 5.98% to 4.73%.

Recorder Nicole Supp told the council that an error in Resolution 2026-15 had misstated the City's pickup rate for URS Tier II public safety employees. "The City's contribution rate had mistakenly been listed as 5.98%, when the correct rate was 4.73%," Supp said, and introduced Resolution 2026-15A to make the correction.
