Naheede Brooks submitted her resignation from the DFACS board effective immediately; the board will consider appointee BJ Evans at the July meeting to fill the unexpired term through June 30, 2029.

Chairman Graham informed the board that Naheede Brooks had submitted her resignation from the Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS) Board effective immediately; Brooks' term had been scheduled to expire on June 30, 2029. Graham said the appointment to fill the seat would be for the remainder of that term and that he had spoken with BJ Evans about the vacancy.
