Committee approves several appointments, RS print requests and rules reports
The Senate Judiciary & Rules Committee approved gubernatorial appointments and reappointments for Terry Kirkham and Paula Garay, heard a reappointment presentation for Brian Marx, and moved several requested statutes (RSs) to print.

The committee moved multiple administrative and appointment items. Senator Wintrow moved to send the gubernatorial appointment of Terry Kirkham to the Commission of Pardons and Parole to the floor with a recommendation for confirmation; Senator Ricks seconded and the motion carried by voice vote. The committee likewise voted to send the reappointment of Paula Garay to the Sexual Offender Management Board to the floor with a recommendation for confirmation.
