The Darrington Town Council voted on March 12, 2025, to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Partners for Rural Washington and authorized Mayor Dan O. Rankin to sign the agreement. Councilmember Gary Willis moved to approve the MOU and Evan Craig seconded; the council recorded unanimous support from those present and the motion carried.
