Perrier Road bridge to close for wing-wall work; highway staff report maintenance progress

Public works staff reported that Parent Construction will pour new wing walls on the Perrier Road bridge and that the bridge will be closed for two to three weeks at the end of March while the work occurs; the board asked that advance signage and an email/website notice be issued. Staff said they had borrowed two chippers and undertaken brush-cutting and light maintenance while responding to equipment issues such as a failed compressor regulator, which was addressed with an automatic drain valve purchase to reduce future damage.
