Brooks County Commissioners on May 8 presented a special recognition to Falfurrias High School students Tayana Sanchez and Elizabeth Garza after they were selected to have essays published in a book. Judge Eric Ramos and the court offered the recognition as a presentation-only item; no board action was required.
