Butler County commissioners unanimously appointed Norm Wilks to the Flinthills Services, Inc. Board of Directors to fill a vacant seat, following a presentation by Miles Harvey. The motion passed 5-0; no new county financial obligations were reported.

Miles Harvey, director for Flinthills Services Inc., asked the Board to appoint Norm Wilks to a vacant seat after Suzie Locke completed her term. The Board noted Flinthills receives regular apportionment payments from Butler County but that appointing a new member carries no new financial obligations for the county.
