Sharon Jones told the planning council the BHSA Integrated Plan draft for 2026–2029 was posted to the county website on March 26, 2026 and will be available for 30 days for public review and comment, closing April 25, 2026. Sharon said a public hearing before the Behavioral Health Advisory Board will be held May 5, 2026, and the Board of Supervisors is scheduled to consider the plan on June 2, 2026.
Council member Monica Adrian asked whether the draft would need to be reposted if state feedback prompted changes. Sharon replied that the draft would not be reposted; instead, changes resulting from state feedback would be addressed at the public hearing. Sharon said she will present a PowerPoint version of the plan to BHAB and that the same presentation will return to this committee at the April meeting.
